Last updated: July 13, 2026Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the SportsWise: Sports Explainer browser extension (the "Extension"). The Extension is operated by Anthony Deldin ("I," "me," or "my").By installing, accessing, or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.1. The ServiceSportsWise: Sports Explainer is a browser extension that displays an on-screen overlay providing plain-language explanations of live sports plays across multiple difficulty levels, along with a feature to ask questions about the game.Explanations and information are generated using automated systems, artificial intelligence services, and third-party sports data providers, and are provided for informational and educational purposes only. I do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any sports data, scores, or explanations.The Extension offers both a free tier and a paid subscription tier ("SportsWise Pro"), described in Section 6.2. PrivacyYour use of the Extension is also governed by the SportsWise: Sports Explainer Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled. By using the Extension, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.3. Eligibility and AgeYou must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country or region to consent to the use of online services) to use the Extension. The Extension is not directed to children under 13.To purchase a subscription, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract.4. AI-Generated and Automated ContentThe Extension uses automated and artificial intelligence systems to generate explanations and other content. These systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or misleading outputs.You should not rely on the Extension as an official or authoritative source. In particular, it is not intended for, and must not be used for: sports betting or wagering; fantasy sports decisions; official scoring or officiating; coaching decisions; medical, legal, or financial decisions; or any other professional, safety-critical, or high-stakes purpose. The Extension does not provide official rule interpretations.5. Account and Sign-InCertain features, including SportsWise Pro, may require you to sign in using your email address so that your subscription status can be recognized. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address, for maintaining the security of access to that email, and for all activity that occurs under your sign-in. Notify me promptly at [email protected] if you believe your access has been used without your authorization.6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation6.1 Free and Paid TiersThe Extension provides a free tier with limited features and usage, and a paid subscription tier, SportsWise Pro, which unlocks additional features and removes certain usage limits. The specific features and limits of each tier are described in the Extension and may change over time in accordance with Section 11.6.2 Seller and Merchant of RecordSportsWise Pro subscriptions are offered by Anthony Deldin. Payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") using Stripe's Managed Payments service, under which Stripe acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. As merchant of record, Stripe is responsible for processing your payment and for the collection and remittance of any applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes on your purchase. RevenueCat is used to manage subscription entitlements (that is, to recognize your subscription status across the Extension). By subscribing, you also agree to the applicable terms of Stripe and RevenueCat as they relate to payment processing and your purchase.6.3 Pricing and PlansSportsWise Pro is offered on a monthly and an annual plan. Current prices are shown at the point of purchase before you complete your order. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Any applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes are calculated and added at checkout by Stripe as merchant of record where required by law, and will be shown before you complete your purchase. Subscription prices may change; any price change will apply only to billing periods after the change and will be disclosed to you in advance where required by law.6.4 Free TrialPaid plans may include a free trial period (for example, seven days) offered to eligible new subscribers. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and the applicable subscription fee will be charged to your payment method. Trial eligibility may be limited to customers who have not previously subscribed or used a trial.6.5 Automatic RenewalSportsWise Pro subscriptions automatically renew. At the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as applicable), your subscription will renew for another period of the same length, and your payment method will be charged the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe, as merchant of record, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.6.6 CancellationYou may cancel your subscription at any time through the subscription-management options provided at or after checkout (for example, the customer portal or management link provided by Stripe), or by contacting me at [email protected]. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of amounts already charged.6.7 RefundsBecause a free trial is offered so that you can evaluate SportsWise Pro before being charged, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and pro-rated refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Because Stripe is the merchant of record, refunds are handled in accordance with Stripe's processes; if you believe you were charged in error or have another concern, contact me at [email protected] and I will review your request in good faith and coordinate with Stripe where appropriate. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction.6.8 Failed PaymentsIf a renewal payment fails, your access to Pro features may be suspended or downgraded to the free tier. A short grace period may apply during which access continues while payment is retried.7. LicenseI grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. This license applies to both the free and paid tiers; purchasing a subscription grants access to additional features but does not transfer ownership of any part of the Extension to you.8. Acceptable UseYou agree not to:Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws;
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Extension, except to the extent permitted by law;
Circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass usage limits, the paywall, entitlement checks, or any billing or access-control mechanism;
Interfere with or disrupt the Extension or its backend servers;
Use automated systems to access the service, or send more requests than a human could reasonably produce;
Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data or content;
Share, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Extension, a subscription, or its content, or share your sign-in or subscription access with others.9. User-Submitted ContentIf you submit questions, feedback, or other content through the Extension, you are responsible for that content and represent that you have the right to submit it. You grant me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store that content as necessary to operate and improve the Extension, subject to the Privacy Policy. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.10. Intellectual PropertyThe Extension, including its design, text, graphics, and original content (excluding third-party sports data and user-submitted content), is owned by Anthony Deldin and is protected by intellectual property laws.All team names, league names, player names, logos, trademarks, and related identifiers are the property of their respective owners. Any use is for identification, commentary, educational, or informational purposes only and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or approval. The Extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sports league, team, player, broadcaster, streaming service, or governing body.11. Changes to the ExtensionI may add, remove, limit, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, sports, content, explanations, data sources, tiers, or any part of the Extension at any time, subject to applicable law. If I make a material adverse change to features included in an active paid subscription, I will make a reasonable effort to notify subscribers, and where required by law will offer an appropriate remedy.12. DisclaimersTHE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. I DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION (INCLUDING SPORTS DATA, SCORES, AND EXPLANATIONS) WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.13. Limitation of LiabilityTO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTHONY DELDIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE EXTENSION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SPORTSWISE PRO IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.14. Changes to These TermsI may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes affecting paid subscriptions, I will make a reasonable effort to provide notice. Your continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.15. TerminationI may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension if I believe you have violated these Terms, used it in a way that creates risk or liability, or if I discontinue the Extension or any part of it. If I terminate a paid subscription other than for your breach, I will provide a pro-rated refund of any prepaid, unused portion where required by law, coordinated with Stripe as merchant of record. You may stop using and uninstall the Extension, and cancel any subscription, at any time. Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms ends.16. Governing Law and DisputesThese Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
